Here we go!

Well today marks the official release of my new blog and domain! It’s still is (and always will be) under development. As I release new sub-domains. I’ll post it here and probably other places so you can check it out!
So having seen that it’s virtually impossible to create photography content w/ detailed instructions/illustrations in every post unless you do it full time. I’m going to create new posts every other day that cover the entire spectrum of what I do professionally (and photography).
So this blog will continue to show you about lighting (my greatest passion) and also general photography principals put to practice so you can grasp the fundamentals. Then we can learn the advanced techniques together. I will also show you what I learn as I pick up web development, Perl coding, CGI Scripts, Graphic Design, Photoshop video tutorials, SmugMug CSS customization and any other tech coolness that I come across. This will give me the ability to always provide content so my content never grows stale and reach a broader audience of people that are interested in the same spectrum as I am.
I’ll be posting a video tutorial on Friday (02/14/08) on how to set up RSS feeds, search for specific categories and other cool things that you might want to use. This way I bring my content to you. No looking to see if there’s anything new!
After Friday’s brief video tutorial. I’ll be doing a series of “cliffsnotes” on “Light Science & Magic” the third edition from start to finish for all you lighting junkies! So blog content for at least a few weeks will continue on photography lighting, then branch into my other specialties. After I’m done w/ this cliffsnotes. I’m going to summarize this and do a write up for dgrin!
I genuinely appreciate all your feedback.
Constructive criticism of any and all my work is warmly invited.
All the best,
-Jon
